Cities are astounding with their bright lights, bustling activity, and overall magnificent nature. Unfortunately, there is an unglamorous reality on the other side of the street lamp.
While walking around the little city of Amherst, Massachusetts, I found this guy sitting at a storefront playing his instrument, which my ignorance prevents me from identifying. He used to reside, along with his musical comrade, inside the subway station before being "forced" out when the Department of Transportation installed a high-fidelity audio system at strategic points throughout the tunnel.
It irks me to think how people with this unforgiving lifestyle survive during the harsh months of the winter season, or even at all!
