The Power of the Photographer

Whenever us photographers are in a rut (as we begin to blame the camera for its shortcomings), it's important to remind ourselves that the person behind the camera that ultimately makes this picture.

Below is a shot I stumbled upon from an awesome photographer, by the name of Kevin Chung (Kayce Photography), who is around my age and has an extensive portfolio of model portraits and fine-art photography.

(Aperture: f/2, Shutter: 1/200th)

Question:
What camera was this taken on, you ask?

Answer: A really old 3.3 megapixel Sony pro-sumer, compact digital camera used under a studio-lighting setup. It goes to show that you don't need an 18-mp beast with lenses that are heavier than 20lb dumbbells to get good shots.
